Description

A metallic plate beam splitter is a flat substrate with a thin, partially reflecting metal coating on one face. Set at 45°, it divides a beam into transmitted and reflected parts at a fixed ratio. Plates are light and suit large apertures. Uses include scientific research, laser systems and industrial optics.
