Curved mirrors that focus light, with no chromatic aberration.

A concave mirror has an inward-curved reflecting surface that brings light to a focus. For a spherical mirror the focal length is half the radius of curvature (f = R/2). Because it works by reflection, every wavelength comes to the same focus. Uses include astronomy, laser systems and imaging.
